Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has decided to stay with the club, despite interest from Chelsea. De Zerbi was appointed as Brighton's manager in September 2022, following the departure of Graham Potter to Chelsea. Since then, Brighton has sold several key players, including Leandro Trossard and Alexis Mac Allister.
De Zerbi's departure from Brighton was expected after he was offered a job by Chelsea, one of Europe's top clubs. However, both parties were unable to reach an agreement, and De Zerbi has now decided to remain at Brighton.
De Zerbi's decision is a boost for Brighton, who are currently ninth in the Premier League table. The Italian coach has been praised for his attacking style of play, and he will be hoping to guide Brighton to a top-half finish this season.
