Rider killed in Pasig City crash

Motorcyclist and passenger run over by dump truck, also die

One motorcycle rider was killed after colliding with a car in Pasig City

Pasig Police said in a report on Tuesday that the rider, identified as Randy Magsino, was driving a Yamaha Z1 motorcycle along Amang Rodriguez Avenue in Barangay Dela Paz when he hit a Toyota Fortuner driven by Henry Lim at around 10:45 a.m.

Magsino was rushed to Pasig City General Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Lim was unhurt.

In another incident, a motorcyclist and his male passenger were killed after getting run over by a dump truck in Pasig City.

The victims were identified as Jhomer Apresto and his passenger, Mark Anthony Villanueva.

According to the Pasig City Police, the dump truck driver, identified as Rogelio Mendoza, was driving along Amang Rodriguez Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the motorcycle.

Apresto and Villanueva were thrown from the motorcycle and run over by the dump truck.

Mendoza was arrested and charged with reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide.
